Nitrogen pressures as high as 350 psig can be achieved using two stage rotary screw compressors and membrane type nitrogen generators. No booster compressor is required.
With PSA nitrogen generators typically a nitrogen booster compressor would be required for any nitrogen pressure requirement greater than 150 psig. Single and multi-stage stage oil lubricated and oil-free booster compressors are available depending on the application.
