- Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) systems are well suited to most industrial applications, including brazing, gold mining, ozone generation, and cylinder filling.
- Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption (VPSA) systems are more energy-efficient than PSA at high oxygen flow volumes and are best suited to large-scale, low-pressure applications including wastewater treatment, aquaculture, and industrial combustion processes.

PSA is the practical default for most industrial applications since it operates at higher pressure, requires minimal space, and covers the full range of flows from small-scale operations up to 4,000 SCFH.
